At Gather Federal Credit Union, the health and safety of our employees, members and communities we serve is our top priority. Gather FCU is carefully watching the health risks posed by COVID-19 and is closely monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the Hawaii State Department of Health.
We are actively following the latest developments and will continue to follow the guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Hawaii State Department of Health. Here are a few of the measures we are taking to ensure the health and safety of our employees, our members and our community:
Practicing Social Distancing - To help slow the spread of the virus, we're asking employees and members to keep at a distance. We have implemented shields between our teller stations for face-to-face transactions and have set up our offices so people are 6 feet apart.
We are encouraging members to use our remote services which are highlighted further below. Also, we have minimized risk by postponing large, upcoming events and gatherings and are having our employees stay home if they are feeling ill or at risk.
Increasing Sanitation Measures - While we always strive to maintain the highest standards when it comes to cleaning and maintaining our offices, we're taking it even further by increasing the frequency of our cleanings, concentrating on high touched public areas and we have set up hand sanitize stations for member's use.
We are also keeping our employees informed and giving them the tools they need to keep themselves and their environment safe and clean.

Gather FCU has partnered with the Loan Source for new PPP loan applications.

Stimulus Payments Notice
In light of the upcoming Federal Stimulus Check deposits, Gather FCU would like to remind our members that there may be delays when using Gather Online and/or Gather Mobile. During this time, we expect heavy usage, which may lead to technical errors when viewing your accounts.
If you are expecting a stimulus check, here are a few tips that will help alleviate any frustrations, as well as the load on our systems:
- If you see a pending deposit in your account, the deposit will be posted on the date reflected in the pending transaction. Unfortunately, we are unable to release the deposit any sooner.
- Check for your stimulus payments after 12:00 pm. Deposits are only processed Monday - Friday (except on holidays), so if your deposit is not available after 12:00 pm, check again the next day.
- Set up deposit alerts so that you are notified when a deposit hits your account - without having to log in. (You will need to allow app notifications in your device settings.)
- When available, you can check the status of your Stimulus Check here: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment

We are offering payment extensions, loan modifications, emergency loans and financial counseling for members who are experiencing financial difficulties.
